Defined scope
Every record names the company, the claim, the business units covered, and the evidence date. A mark never certifies more than the public record says.
Pilot Standard 0.3
Human Made Business is launching as a private verification programme and public registry. The pilot standard is designed around explicit claims, recorded evidence, reviewer judgement, expiry, and a route to challenge a decision.
Every record names the company, the claim, the business units covered, and the evidence date. A mark never certifies more than the public record says.
Fees support the work of review. They do not guarantee approval. Review and commercial decisions must remain separate as the programme grows.
Records expire. Material changes to ownership, operations, contact details, or the use of automation can trigger an earlier review.
Each badge links to a live record. Suspended, expired, or withdrawn records change status at the source so a copied image cannot stand alone as proof.
Pilot review path
Confirm the entity, website, location, ownership, and exact claim under review.
Collect domain control, registration, operator roles, delivery practice, disclosure, and contact consent.
Meet the accountable founder or operator and test whether the written story matches the working reality.
Record pass, conditional pass, or decline with reasons. Commercial staff cannot override the evidence decision.
Publish the scope, date, status, renewal point, and profile. Keep private contact details behind consented member access.
Recheck on expiry or material change. Provide a documented complaints and appeals route before full launch.
Built from established trust principles
Conformity assessment and the distinction between inspection, verification, and third-party certification.
ISO CASCOImpartiality, confidentiality, records, surveillance, complaints, and control of conformity marks.
W3CA future path for machine-verifiable credentials, status, issuers, holders, and verifiers.
ICOData minimisation, purpose limitation, access control, and privacy by design for stored contact information.
The current profiles and scores are demonstrations. Human Made Business should not describe the pilot mark as accredited or equivalent to an ISO certification unless an independent accreditation and assurance structure is established. The public language will change only when the evidence supports that claim.
